Fly Business and First Class on Points
For over 10 years, every overseas flight we've taken has been in business or first class. Lie-flat beds, suites with a door, caviar over the Pacific. We book it with points, and we're getting ready to show you exactly how.
We'll email you first when the doors open.
Free to join. Waitlist hears first, before anyone else.
Cash Back Pays 1¢ a Point. Our Flights Average 6¢.
Most people trade their points for cash back or statement credits at 1 cent each. Spent on business and first class seats, the same points have averaged 6 cents each for us.
6 cents is the average value per point across the award flights in our booking log.
A Few Pages From Our Booking Log
We keep a spreadsheet of every award flight we book. Here are a few favorites, most under 80,000 points, with the cash price of the same seat.
Points are per ticket, one way. Seat price is what the same seat sold for when we booked. Cents per point counts the seat price minus the taxes and fees we paid. Cash back assumes the usual 1 cent per point. Chicago to Barcelona shows the typical Google Flights fare for that seat.
The Whole Playbook, in Plain English
No jargon, no 40-tab spreadsheets. The same steps we follow every time we book.

This Is What 7M Points Looks Like

Hi, We're Catarina and Rafa
We started collecting points so we could travel more. Then we figured out we could also travel a lot better. Since then we've flown 23 airlines in business and first, and for more than 10 years every overseas trip has been up front. That includes the trips with our son Louie.
We get the same questions every week. Which card? Which program? How do you even find these seats? We're putting all of it in one place, and the waitlist gets it first.
